I would like to share my personal testimony with you today. I don't have enough time or space to tell you all God has done for me, but here's just a taste. In 1983 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, they said that it had spread throughout my whole female organs. They did surgery on me and said that I would probably end up having a full hysterectomy. They said I would never be able to have any more children. well I went to church and the whole church came together and prayed over me, we believed that what we asked the lord to do, was done. so I retuned for my check up in 3 months like I was suppose too, I had stopped taking my medicine because I was trusting in  God for my healing. The doctor was in amazement, the test results was like looking at a totally different set of results than just a few months before. not only did the Lord heal me, the very next year, or about 6 months later I became pregnant, and had another son.

Then in 2003 they said that the tumor had came back, well again I went to church, the pastor and the whole congregation laid hands on me, and prayed the prayer of faith, and once again I was healed. Glory to God. Well in 2004 I was experiencing sever headaches and my throat was really giving me a fit, see me and my best friend sing together in church. it got to where I couldn't hardly sing for the pain, as well as my voice was cutting out on me. I went to the Doctor, after all the tests was run, they said I had polyps all over my voice box, and they had found a tumor behind my left ear. they diagnosed that both my throat and the tumor was cancer. I was scheduled for surgery on Monday morning. That Sunday night once again they all surrounded me, and we prayed. the pastor anointed a small cloth with oil, and told me to keep it on me. I have long hair, so I balled my hair up on my head that morning of surgery, and poked that cloth inside the ball. they told my husband that I would be taken straight to intensive care after surgery because of the extensive cutting behind my ear . I woke up in the recovery room, not intensive care. I couldn't speak because of the surgery on my throat. but I managed to get the attention of a nurse. she went and got my Doctor.

The doctor stood at my bedside shaking his head in amazement. he said that he removed 15 polyps from my throat, but NO CANCER could be found. and the tumor that showed up 2 days before, WAS GONE. He never even cut my head. So I'm here to tell you that prayer changes things, when Jesus said "BY MY STRIPES YE ARE HEALED" That's exactly what he means. Praise God I can testify that God will do what you ask of him, if you ask faith believing and put your trust in him. He has done so much for me, and that's why I am here to tell this story today. but you know even if he had never healed this body, I am still a winner either way, the greatest thing he has ever done in my life is Saved my soul from hell. He forgave my sins and applied the blood of the lamb.

Greetings in the name of the Lord!  I would like to take a few minutes out of your time, and share my testimony with you.  The Lord has blessed my life in so many ways...I was born in April of 1979.  And in October of 1980, I was diagnosed with a birth defect called Cerebral Palsy.  (C.P for short)

In September of 1983, I started going to Shriners Hospital, in Lexington, KY,  In January of 1986, I had heel cord surgery at the Shriners Hospital.  Also when I was little the doctors put my legs in metal and plastic leg braces.....the medal leg braces I had to sleep in them at night, and I am just praising the Lord, that I do not have to do that any longer....and then in 1994....the doctors put my legs in plastic leg braces....but PRAISE THE LORD, I do not have to wear them any longer.

Then on our 11th birthday, my identical twin sister ran completely over me with an old riding lawn mower, and I am praising God,  that I am here today, because, all I have to show for the lawn mower accident, is a scar on my left arm.

Praise God!!  Thank you Jesus for saving me.  I came to know this man named Jesus Christ in September of 1987.  This man Jesus loosed the chains of sin off of me...I had enough of satan and his little mean tricks....so I was in the living room talking to my mother, she was in another room of the house....and I asked her "How do I become saved"?   
 
So my mother, she came out of the other room....and into the living room where I was....and I walked over to the hearth of the fire place, and she sat down on the hearth and I sat down on her knee......and I prayed to Jesus and He came into my heart.  PRAISE THE LORD, I AM HEAVEN BOUND!

Then in the Spring of 2003, I met my friend Gino.  I joined his Prayer Team, and I am PRAISING GOD for him, because, my relationship is back with the Lord, where it should be,  And, when I joined his prayer team, I was just looking for a friend.  Praise God, I found a friend. 

I know that I have been through a lot in my life, but Praise God, I am on the WINNING SIDE, and I know that JESUS is going to take care of me. 

The Lord just keeps on blessing me, when I least expect it.  God is placing me in so many Christian groups, to make Satan mad.  I am so happy in the Lord, because it is working.

 In February of 2005, Gino and I started Atmosphere for Healing in Yahoo and now we have moved it to MSN in 2006, I am blessed to be a help to him.  I hope that my testimony has touched someone in a small way....thank you for letting me share my testimony with you.  God Bless You!

The following is my Christian testimony as of March 2007
 
When I was thirteen years old, I was invited to Sweet Springs Baptist Church the first time by my next neighbours, which were the Magruders. I attended Sunday School and the Sunday Morning Service with them a few times until they moved to Highway D.
 
Four years later, on Saint Patrick’s Day I came back to Sweet Springs Baptist Church with the Kirby family to a prayer meeting service and a young boy named Nathan Stevenson asked me if I was saved or not. I did not know what saved meant, so I was lost without Christ.
 
Therefore, I attended church for Sunday School, Sunday Morning and Evening serviced and Wednesday Evening Bible Studies and on Friday, April 2nd, 1993, in a revival service with evangelist Brother Bobby Bates preaching I felt God tugging with my heart wanting me to accept His Son, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savoir. Therefore, I asked for prayer before the invitation and came to Brother Kenneth Sears, my former pastor, and asked him how to become born again. I listened very carefully and I believed every word and then I prayed and confessed that I was lost and sinner and asked Jesus to forgive of my sins and I believed He died on the cross and rose again the third day out of the grave and confessed my sins, then asked Jesus to save me in Jesus' name Amen.  That evening I got saved.
 
On August 1, 1993 I joined Sweet Springs Baptist Church and was baptized in immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost after the Sunday Evening service.
 
In 1994, I become an attendance taker, choir member, and a usher under my pastor Kenneth Sears.
 
In 1998, under my current pastor Tim Gibson, I continued the things I did under Brother Kenneth Sears and become a helper in Vacation Bible School in June and helped every year since.
 
In 1998-2005 I have been a Youth Camp counsellor and a Teen Camp counsellor in 2001
 
On September 17, 2001, I became Sunday School Secretary until November 28, 2005.
 
In March 2003, I became a helper for the bus ministry.
 
In December 2005, I became a backup Sunday School teacher, and in February 2007, God blessed me to help teach the 5th and 6th boys and girls as a backup
